About the Artist

Biography - I always found writing Bio's to be tough business. Do you write them as if someone else is talking about you - Like George Castanza in Seinfield, who would always talk about himself in the third person. Do you just start writing educational information, or the up-to-date client lists or my favorite food? Hmmmm none of these really seemed to fit me when I needed to write this, but I will try.
                                        I am an illustrator of 15 years, who loves to paint, sculpt, sketch and render all blank paper harmless. Creating characters that have a need to take over the world would be a favorite of mine. I try to eat, think, sleep and draw, in an imaginary world of the cartoon -  that is endless. I find it interesting to imagine if the world was run by chickens would there be world peace or an egg based stock exchange? To be an artist means to think outside the box all the time, it is what nourishes creativity and propels imagination and innovation beyond limits. My favorite artist growing up was Walt Disney who did just that. My inspiration to do more with art is because of the talented people of Pixar. Lastly, my dreams and aspirations to create that new character for claymation or design an iconic character for web marketing comes from the inspiration of all the unrecognized talent yet to be discovered. 
                                         My art station is manned with acryics, watercolors, colored pencils, and one of my favorite items my Mac computer(with CS5.5). Branching out to paint Murals, and stage sets has made me feel more versatile as an artist and keeps your art fresh. I love Illustration work, it is so awesome to create characters with personalities and backgrounds that can only come from imagination. 3-D model fabrication is becoming one of my favorites - Anyone out there want to do a Claymation?
     A dream of mine would be getting involved with a claymation project. I would love to design 
incredible characters out of plasticine, create an amazing set and props for this project. If your looking for just that - contact me and let's get that project started!
