Things have been so busy lately....well are things ever slow? Not really, In fact I guess it's a good thing to keep going and stay busy it keeps our mind young as well as our bodies. With Spring in the air and almost 70 degree weather I hope to get back into the walking.

It's time to take a breather, I just finished 8 new card designs! One is featured here and two on my shop area. They will be available soon at my Etsy store, but for now they are still being scanned and printed.

My Etsy store will have a new name Cartoon Girl Designs, so please pay a visit. One design has been pinned on Pinterest, Yay! Happy to see the designs are enjoyed!

I am hoping to also use my bamboo tablet more, I have the brushes app on my Ipad and really want to get into digital painting. I have to find out if the Bamboo can work with Ipad, if not I have the Photoshop cs5 suite so that might have to do for now. I would love to be able to scan my sketches, transfer to my Ipad and have the digital painting available for when I am in Florida. Again, I try to work in so many projects I need 54 hours in a day! Experimenting keeps you fresh and gives so many more options for creating art.

Next Blog I hope to share photos of some fabrication I am involved with at work. Till then Have a great day!

Hey Mar! Sure, tell everyone what a mess we made on the cellar walls! (At least they weren't the livingroom walls; mom would have killed us!) Only kidding. Love your website. I'm glad you included the Egyptian murals, they were always my favorites. You've gone so far beyond my artistic talent, I'll have to take lessons from YOU! I haven't drawn in so long I don't know if can anymore. Wendy has challenged me to repaint a Barnabas Collins poster on Canvas that I had bought on-line. There are some serious problems that were overlooked when transfered to computer. We have to set up a "play date" so we can paint at her house; my apartment is too small. If I ever manage to do it, I'll try to posted on line. Wish me luck! RE: wall art, I never made that much of a mess--Really! I blame it on the older girls, it was them - Honest!

FACT: I have been drawing since I was little. I think my mother said when I was born I came out with a package of Crayola crayons. From then on it's pretty much history. I was drawing princesses on the cellar wall going down the stairs (the walls were white it looked like a blank sheet of paper to me!). Of course, my mother found out and made me wash the wall immediately! I think I was five. My sister had wall duty too, when she drew horses my mother knew it was her. We had clean cellar walls that's for sure!
